We Hate the Truth

truth:

Meaning 1: That which exists as a situation, an object or a quality, whose existence cannot be denied, which is in the state of a fact, real.

Meaning 2: Carrying qualities in keeping with the original, genuine.

Meaning 3: Basic, principal, essential.

lie:

Meaning 1: A word said knowingly and contrary to the truth with the aim of deceiving; a fib.

Meaning 2: That which is not real, baseless, made-up. (Turkish Dictionary)

Of these words, which are opposites of each other, whose meaning do we love most? Do we love, speak, and live with the truths? Do we love lies, integrate with them, and fill our lives with them?

The reasons people resort to lying: to obtain an advantage, to escape criticism or punishment, because of shame, out of politeness, because they feel insecure, out of fear, to take revenge, because it caresses their hatred, to flee responsibility, to make a joke, and even out of love a lie is told. I am sure that, roughly, many more reasons could be counted.

In fact there is no person who does not lie; a terrible thing, but this is the truth. Whatever the dose, this is what everyone does. All right, the excuses for the lie are many and sometimes understandable, but what about the truth? Are truths too, like lies, met with sympathy, understanding, even sometimes tolerance? Most of the time no; indeed we praise those people saying ‘how masterfully he lies,’ and again we say, ‘how beautifully he voices the truths.’ So then we like both lies and truths, but this changes according to each person, situation, place and person.

If this is the situation, do we say, ‘eh, it is not such a bad thing’? Then it will be fitting to ask this question: In proportion as a percentage, how much truth and how much lie is told? My own personal answer to these questions is that, while 99.9% lies are told, there is 0.01% truth. The lie is everywhere. Newspaper, magazine, news, TV, films, people, our surroundings, us, and count as many as you can. That is, there is no need to search for where the lie is, because there is so very much of it everywhere that it has filled the world.

Well, let us ask the question changing it a little: ‘How much do we love the truths?’ But I am speaking of pure, clean truths. Well, how much do we love the lie? Let my answer to these too be: while we love the truths 0.01%, that is, almost not at all, we adore the lie. Let us by no means suppose that everyone lies willingly too. Those who make an effort for those right things or truths do not know the truth, so that they might speak the right. We are kneaded all over with lies and we have now become one whole with it. The number of those who, clinging to a lie as if it were truth, go to their death cannot be reckoned, both in history and in our time.

In talk, it is said ‘no one likes to be lied to,’ is it not? This is the biggest bluff of all. If you dare, speak the right, the truth — speak it and see!

So then, is it because we, as humanity, have seen so much benefit from the lie that we love the lie and keep away from the truths? The answer is plainly clear; decide how much benefit we have seen by looking at our world. There is no other world, there is one. And then read again, thinking, the meaning of lie and truth written at the very beginning! Think a little about where the lies we cling to, integrate with, will take us, and again what we will obtain by ambitiously standing against the truths.

About 3200 years have passed since David wrote in the book we know as the Psalms: ‘Everyone lies to one another, flatters, acts with hypocrisy.’ (Psalms 12:2)

‘One of man's greatest and worst attributes is lying,’ it says in the Wikipedia explanation.

Look, I may see people's lying as a great weakness. I even try to understand them, that is not the subject; what is truly terrible is people's attitude and reactions toward the truths. And those truths that are certainly related to their future, their interests and their lives. People hate these. When we look at history, while reading events over a few pages — which may cover 50, 100 years and even a longer time — we shake our heads, we cannot make sense of what the people of that time did. If the history we read is written impartially, we read its beginnings and ends right away in a few pages, even sometimes in a few sentences. While the knowledge we have within a few minutes and our judgment of those people is correct, just, intelligent, wise; if we are living within the events, unfortunately we ourselves do, live and die for the things that, while reading, we shook our heads at, could not make sense of, and called senseless and very wrong. Dying is not important; many prophets, righteous persons, Jesus the Messiah too were killed, but we must ask ‘for what's sake.’ For those who die defending the right and the truth without bowing, the people who feel a joy somewhere that they did not give in, and who wish to go in their footsteps, are not few.

The Roman Governor of the time, before judging Jesus the Messiah, asks questions:

Upon this Pilate said, ‘So then are you a king?’ Jesus answered thus: ‘You yourself say that I am a king. I was born for this, I came into the world to bear witness to the truth. Everyone who is on the side of the truth listens to my voice.’ Pilate said to him, ‘What is truth?’ John 18:37-38

Pilate is not asking a question; with the question he asks, he in fact answers in his own way, and sincerely. By saying ‘What is truth?’, he is aware, from his experiences too, of a terribly difficult comparison. Let us not suppose that truth and lie are so easily distinguishable. It is done so masterfully, with such cunning, that to notice is sometimes beyond the impossible. I said it, the whole world is kneaded with lies, and people's lifespan is short, we are forced to believe what is placed before us.

It is said that 72% of the eyewitnesses who appear in court in the USA turn out wrong. Read carefully, it says ‘turned out wrong,’ it does not say ‘liar.’ For instance, the innocence of a man who lay 17 years in prison and continually said he was innocent comes out again by chance. A convict who resembles him almost to the point of being called a twin, exactly the same with his beard type and mustache, being guilty and in the same prison, sheds light on the matter, and they release the man. Of course 17 years of his life become a disgrace. But if I had been there too, I would have said, ‘it was this man.’ Not only I, everyone would have said so, and we would have called this the truth, because the resemblance is terrible. But of course not all of those wrong eyewitnesses make a mistake sincerely. Aside from those who fall victim to their feelings, their anger, their malice, there are surely also those who, because they did not find that person sympathetic, themselves believe the lie they themselves told — as they say.

The difficult cases in the country were looked at by kings. About 3 thousand years before our time, an interesting case of King Solomon, the son of the prophet David, occurs in the Holy Scripture too. The case is about 2 prostitute women living in the same room and giving birth to babies at almost the same time. One of them probably falls asleep while nursing at night and sleeps on her baby, and the baby is smothered and dies. When she notices this, she takes the other woman's baby and puts the dead baby in her bosom. But in the case both say the same things. Try to get out of that. ‘No, no! That is my baby, the dead one is hers. No! The dead one is hers, the living is my baby,’ they say. Solomon listens to both these women and makes a simple decision. ‘Bring the child and divide it in two in the middle with a sword, give half to one and the other half to the other,’ he says. While one of the women, bewildered and surely with terrible anxiety, cries out, ‘oh sir, stop, by no means kill it! Give the baby to her,’ the other woman says, ‘do so, let it be neither mine nor hers, divide it in two.’ (1 Kings 3:26) Then the king makes his decision: ‘By no means kill the child! Give it to the first woman, for she is its real mother,’ he says.

These are simple examples according to the medical technique of our present time, but for that time a very difficult situation, and at the same time the wise decision in the judgment is astonishing and arouses admiration.

The subject I want to dwell on is, rather than which of people knows the most correct and true of everything, deliberately hating the truths. It may be that a thing is wrong, a lie, but we know it as truth and have been made to believe it. It is now our truth. And with all heart and sincerity at that. Even if we say this situation has filled our whole world, to free oneself from it is in fact very simple and easy. Of course, in talk again, but is it so in practice — come, let us see.

Again I do not want to take up the truths that are spoken, and meet hatred, of the kind that is called a ‘petty crime,’ as it were. For instance:

-Ah! You have gained a lot of weight,

-This outfit does not suit you at all,

-What funny high heels those are, you are like a clown, girl,

-What a shoddy car you have, I will get a hernia getting in and out,

-What kind of glasses have you chosen; as if to say ‘look, I wear glasses,’

-With this makeup you have become not only ugly or funny, but a freak,

-What filth this is, everywhere of yours smells like a garbage dump,

-Give that here! You cannot even beat an egg…

I do not want to waste time speaking of these kinds of truths. There are already many articles written about these, and of the kinds we are all wrapped up with. There are some things — and I said ‘they have now become our truths’ — these kinds. The nicest and easiest examples that come to my mind are our beliefs. Whether we are atheist, or deist, or worship Satan, or have no belief, it makes no difference. It is our truths, that I want to treat. Because the concept we call truth is bound to many things. Education, knowledge, manners, experience, faith, and most importantly knowing, that is, living and feeling it. Although even these will most of the time not be enough to distinguish lie from truth.

Christmas is a feast the Christians celebrate most importantly. That is, according to them, the birthday of Jesus the Messiah. Yet Jesus was not born on that day, December 24, and there is absolutely no such information, no proof, in any Gospel. The concern of the public, especially of the children, is the gift. Children anyway do not know Christmas and the like; society, the surroundings, the parents teach it to them. Learning with gifts is another caprice of the matter. Dozens of years pass and those children become adults and marry, have wives and children, and the same refrain continues. If someone like me comes out and says, ‘no, brother, today is not Jesus' birthday or the like; and besides, God's servants, the prophets, never celebrated a birthday or the like. Open the Holy Scripture and look,’ what happens?

Muslims and the Islamic world circumcise their males when they are children or after they have converted to the religion later. Such a command occurs nowhere in the Quran and cannot be proven either. But they apply this as God's command or the prophet's sunna and, with terribly pompous weddings and entertainments, cut the children's willies. This rule and command God gave to the Jews, that is, through the prophet Abraham to the sons of Israel, and its decree was definitively removed with Jesus the Messiah, with proofs from the Gospel. Even if there are Jews who do not believe that Jesus is the savior Messiah, the Quran plainly accepts that Jesus is the Messiah. In short, it is no longer God's command. You go and say this to them and bring and show the Quran, the Torah, and the Gospel with proofs — what do they say, how do they react?

In your opinion, when these people hear the truths and see the proofs of them too — let alone whether you have the opportunity to show proof — what do they do? You know the answer, so do not tire me. Well, at most one stubborn one among them comes out, sets about arguing with you, grappling with you with proofs, and if he sees the truth, in your opinion what does he do?

The people of the Black Sea are believing people. Among the Christians too there are such people raised with believing education and instruction, and the Jews too. Indeed there are thousands of religions, sects, orders, congregations, and those within them too. Let me tell you my own experiences. When they see, hear, and understand the truths, they either fight scattering foam from their mouths, or with hatred say close the subject, or if he is like that stubborn one, he argues, contends, searches, researches, thinks it over and over, and then gives up all his beliefs and no longer believes in anything. God, a creator, the one who made everything exist, who rules over space, over the galaxies, no longer exists for him. Why? That is, what caused this? The truths? Yet does a person not, willy-nilly, say, ‘in fact it should have been the opposite’? That is, should he not approach and cling to his faith with the joy and pleasure of having become more conscious, more knowledgeable, more zealous, and of having learned the divine truth? Unfortunately it does not happen; at least, in nearly 40 years of my experience precisely on this subject, I have not seen it, not lived it.

A baby that is born knows nothing. With the contributions of mother and father, relatives, the surroundings, society, the child grows and is raised. As for the matter of belief, almost from the moment he is born his surroundings keep inoculating him. Since he knows nothing, what he hears, learns, sees becomes his truth, and he is forced for it to be so. Against the things he has believed as truth for so many years, you come out and put a doubt inside him. He either does not care at all and continues in the same mind, with what society gave him; or he racks his brain and is gripped by a great feeling of having been deceived. Yet he does not behave in keeping with the saying of Jesus the Messiah in an example he gave: ‘So then every scribe trained for the Kingdom of the heavens is like an owner of property who brings out of his treasure both new and old values.’ (Matthew 13:52) He takes everything out and throws it away. The truths he heard have encouraged him to behave not wisely but foolishly.

The greatest fault and error is that, while children are being raised, no open door is left to the possibility that whatever they have been made to believe as truth may be a lie, wrong, or erroneous. On the contrary, his questioning the belief he has means a disloyalty, a treachery, and finally a betrayal, in short a great sin and crime. Perhaps those children have lived seeing these examples too. For them now, questions and doubts can never be accepted. Everyone who has taken in the fear behaves the same way, because the price of accepting the truths is sometimes very heavy. Try to love the truth then, or not to hate it.

Satan rules the earth. He asked permission of God for a certain period, and God gave it to him. Swearing too that he would lead people astray. (Torah-Job chapters 1 and 2; Gospel-John 12:30-31; John 14:30; Gospel-Luke 4:5-6; Gospel-Revelation 12:9; Quran-Al-Hijr 28-43; Quran-Al-Isra 61-65; Quran-Sad 79-84)

Now, did this sentence drop down from above? There are enough proofs, but let us ask the question changing it, and you give the answer yourselves. In your opinion, does God rule this world and is it His will that comes about? The Christians make their children memorize the prayer that Jesus taught his disciples, which they call the model prayer:

Our father in the heavens, may your name be holy; may your kingdom come, may your will be done on earth as it is in heaven... they begin the prayer thus. (Gospel-Matthew 6:9-10) So then His will is not being done on earth as it is in heaven. It is for this reason that almost all religions, including the religions that do not worship the true God, teach us to keep away from the world and worldly passions. God's servant the apostle James says in the Gospel these words that admit no doubt:

Whoever wishes to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God. (Gospel-James 4:4)

Let us not think these words simply; like ‘So what does it mean, is it not God who created the world, and are we to be enemies of the world?’ Because the meaning in these words is not that. The deep blue sky, the stars at night, the seas, the forests, the birds, the fish, and a wonderful creation, however much we ceaselessly try to spoil it. This is not what is meant. What is meant is the dominant spirit on earth, that ugly power and its impositions, the system. That it too is Satan — this ugly power whose dominion we can easily understand even with our own logic alone — God clearly had set down in writing many times through His servants. (Gospel-Luke 4:6; Matthew 4:9; Revelation 12:7-9; Torah-Job 1:6-7; Quran-An-Nisa 118-119; Al-A'raf 14-16 and 30; Ibrahim 22; Al-Hijr 28-38; Sad 71-85)

If our subject is hating the truths, what is Satan's business here? We explained the word that is the opposite of truth as ‘lie,’ and gave its dictionary meaning too. But there is no information in those dictionaries about the identity of the one who invented the lie. Look at what kind of light Jesus the Messiah sheds on this subject:

You are from your father the Devil, and you want to carry out the desires of your father. He was a murderer from the beginning. He did not remain bound to the truth. Because there is no truth in him. It is natural for him to lie. Because he is a liar and the father of the lie. (Gospel-John 8:44)

So then the lie first emerges through a being called Satan, an angel created in the beginning by God, with free will like us, a spiritual creature. (Holy Scripture-Ezekiel 28:13-19) For this reason he is called the ‘father of the lie,’ and at the same time Jesus the Messiah voices ‘the absence of truth in him.’ Since we are going to dwell on the meanings, the workings, the impositions and the results of words, is it not very fitting to know their first emergence and its reasons too?

Now, the reasons for my saying ‘The lie has filled the whole world, finding the truth has become almost impossible’ are, I think, more clearly understood. People who do not believe in things they do not see, atheists, even people who cannot accept any belief, saying ‘we, as humanity, invented Satan so that there would be a defense for the bad things we ourselves do,’ is not entirely a word to be cast aside, partly. I say partly, because half of this statement is truth and half is lie and wrong. Look at how Satan, on the day of resurrection, will defend himself against those who accuse him — let us read from the Quran:

When the matter is finished, Satan too will say: ‘Indeed God promised you what is true. I too promised you, but I turned out a liar. In any case I had no power to compel you. I only called you, and you came to me at once. So do not blame me, blame yourselves. Now I cannot save you, nor can you save me. Indeed I had not accepted, before, your associating me as a partner to God. Indeed, for the wrongdoers there is a painful torment.’ (Ibrahim 22)

The reason for my saying partly, half right and half wrong, rests on these truths. Yes, Satan leads all humanity astray, but people too are not guiltless in going astray. Satan here is telling the truth. That is, we will not be saved by throwing everything onto Satan. ‘Bad companionships corrupt good morals’ occurs in the Gospel, and it is true, but the one who complies with that bad companion is not counted innocent, is not held guiltless either.

When the USA started the economic war with Huawei and China, I began to gather information about Huawei. China, which has the most crowded population in the world, in the 80s asks the West for help in how a telephone is made, how the whole country is woven with a telephone network. Their aim is clear, to produce it cheaply themselves and to ensure that the nation in their country benefits from it. That civilized West gives them no information and does not extend a helping hand. This time they themselves — as they say, from zero — begin so. Without taking 30-40 years, they get ahead of the world with 5G technology too. I immediately bought a Huawei phone. I bought the phone in Germany cheaply from a campaign because of this USA-China-Huawei crisis. At less than half price, an internet campaign for one day. Alongside it they also gave as a gift the Huawei Bluetooth speaker worth 39 Euros, which I came to love very much afterward. This store sent me an offer to share my opinion about the phone and the speaker by writing it. They do it to everyone. I too wrote that the USA's declaring war on Huawei was not in vain, that it was a very high-quality and beautiful phone. I wrote that I was sad it was so cheap, that it is foolishness that people fight against one another instead of for one another, and I also spoke of the technical benefits of the phone. The store informed me that, after a strict review, they would not publish this comment of mine. Without showing a clear reason either. I laughed, of course. These are countries that always throw mud at Turkey and speak of freedom of thought. With the writing I wrote, I voiced the truths about a product that I experienced by living, by trying, that I bought with my own money, but it sank. And it had not even been 2 weeks since I bought it; let us see how many years this will last, will it give me the same satisfaction for years? — with such questions I consoled myself with this answer: ‘If the USA is against this firm that is on the way to becoming the world's best-selling phone, then it is good.’ Because if you know people, their reactions give you certain plain messages. In the same way they struggled a lot with Samsung too. Apple-iPhone never let go of them and, with industrial spies, corrupted their software, badmouthed the phone all over the world, etc. Since Korea is obliged to be pro-USA, the business was not as it was with China; it was lived silently and quietly. Korea too cannot make a peep against the USA. If Samsung had been China's, it would again have been just like Huawei. People can be this base and simple. This means saying: You! cannot make anything better than me without taking permission. This film too is played everywhere in the world.

What do truths or lies have to do with the example I told above? In this event, who listens to whose truth? You may explain a phone and technology, however good, beneficial to humanity, cheap enough that almost everyone can buy it, and brought forth solely by their own means, to the USA or to a store of a country loyal to it — go. They cannot tolerate even the comment of an ordinary person. In fact they go rabid because they know the truth. Yet the iPhone they sell for 800 to 1200 Euros is also produced in China and leaves them that much profit. If they made it in their own country, selling it at twice the price might perhaps still not save them. We said Satan rules the world; we are speaking of the enemy of humanity who has always taken great pleasure in making humanity slaughter one another. He incites, calls, and people at once carry out his desire.

These same wars between states occur in the same way between people, between two people, the family and those who share one roof. People, cutting the branch they sit on, become even uglier, even more petty, even baser, and monsters. Billions of people too watch them just so. They have once given authority, saying ‘rule us, we cannot rule ourselves.’ Well, after this it is easier for Satan. Is it easier to lure the minds of billions of people, or of a handful of people? The fewer there are, the easier.

A woman writer who writes an article for a German newspaper says ‘we tell on average 100 lies a day,’ and continues. ‘By this I do not necessarily mean deliberately deceiving or telling things that never happened,’ she says. ‘Small things, half-truths, embellishing words, exaggerations and so on.’ Again the same writer says, ‘we punish those who speak the truth,’ which I, by my life, have witnessed countless times in the German people. Also, on the matter of truths, do not go far away, to strangers, to authorities and the like; in relations with a person's son, daughter-in-law, spouse, parents — in short, almost with people with whom you have a first-degree blood tie — truths are a great taboo. All those lifelong estrangements, enmities, unending malices, not being able to tolerate one another, surely also stem from someone having spoken the truth and the other not being able to swallow it. If you speak the truths against state authority, and those truths are outside their line, you are burned. Especially the so-called developed countries, the people of countries with high technology and income level, are far more excessively sensitive on this matter. They, let alone swallowing the truths, cannot even gargle with them. In the same way the upper-crust people of underdeveloped countries are the same. That is, as the level of welfare, the label, the rank, the money, the diplomas increase, arrogance and conceit also increase, and generally people hate the truths more for the sake of protecting their ego and interests — I would like to say, but I cannot, because it would be taking sides too much. Because you either love the truth or you do not love it. Whoever you may be; whether rich or poor; whether educated or uneducated. I do not call the uneducated ignorant, nor the one who has gone to school a scholar; because ignorance does not vanish with academic knowledge. Diplomas at most become only a cover over one's ignorance. There are many wise knowers who cannot read or write, and many academic-less ignorant people too. To have library knowledge does not mean to know. One who writes books on love does not necessarily know love. He may have described, told, given examples very beautifully, but it still does not mean he knows. He only has knowledge on that subject. He has not lived it, has not felt it, has not been able to give it the necessary place in his heart, so he cannot know that spirit. This, if the comparison is permissible, is like light to one born blind. Light is taught to the blind, information is given on the subject, he understands and describes it very beautifully with the knowledge he has about it, but he can never know. To know, one must live, feel, experience.

If people remain passive toward truths or lies they do not accept, it is because their strength is not enough against the other side. In short, the power of the person who tells the truth or the lie plays a great role. If you are powerful, the greater your immunity, the more your surroundings cower before the truths, the lies you tell. Only let us not forget, ‘the ground too has ears,’ as they say; if that truth or lie should go to the ear of someone more powerful than you, then what happens is unknown. Let us not suppose that those who remained silent swallowed it either; they are secretly digging the grave of the one who told those truths, lies that did not please them. In fact, what a bitter situation, truths and lies are weighed in the same pan, as it were. Some love the one, others the other.

Whoever and whatever we may be, if what we say is right, it is the truth. If we hate the truths, there is only one explanation for this, and that is: We are Bad. However much we lengthen the subject, if we love the lie and hate the truths, this means we are cutting off our relationship with the creator who promises us an eternal future. Look at what the apostle says:

‘For we can do nothing against the truth, but only for the truth’ (Gospel-2 Corinthians 13:8)

By this it is meant that no one can do anything for the lie. To protect the lie, to manipulate the truths — yes, but it will never be permanent forever. The truths always come out in the end. Some may even say, ‘we ran our ship with lies for hundreds of years, even thousands of years,’ and it is not a lie either. Because when we look at religious beliefs, at the histories written by victorious states, we see that humanity has indeed been deceived for much more than thousands of years and forced to believe the lie. ‘The lie has short legs, it cannot go a long distance,’ they say, but this saying is not always true. The lie can sometimes continue not for a lifetime but for dozens of generations. Those who carry on that lie and try to protect it sometimes do not themselves know the reason.

They put 3-5 monkeys in a room like a cage. They prepared a nice environment for them to live in too. They had everything and seemed happy. Then they hung a banana on the thing standing like a tree in the room. One of the monkeys immediately leapt and grabbed the banana. Right at that moment they began to spray pressurized water on them for a while. Then they hung a banana again, and with one monkey taking it, they sprayed water on all the monkeys. After certain experiences the monkeys stopped taking the banana at all. The banana dangles up there like that, but none of them takes it. And if anyone does attempt to take it, the other monkeys prevent him and give him a good beating. Then they took one monkey from the cage and put in another monkey that did not know this water story. Of course, when it saw the banana it immediately leapt, whereupon the others caught it and gave it a good beating. The monkey, even saying ‘maybe it is a coincidence,’ and understanding nothing from that beating, also gave up the banana passion when it got a beating every time it turned toward a banana. Then they took out another monkey that knew the initial water event and put in its place another monkey that did not know the business. The story is again the same, and so on, they took out all the monkeys at the very beginning that knew the water. The monkeys in the caged room who had never been wetted with water absolutely do not go to the banana. Of course there are those who, overcome by their appetite, go, but a beating is also inevitable. Now those who did this research, which everyone knows and has heard, asked a question. If we asked these monkeys, ‘why do you not take the banana, why do you prevent one another and fight,’ what would they say? Would they, like us, say ‘this is how it came, this is how it goes’?

Bad and dirty works are done secretly or insidiously, given a different appearance. These works done in secret are tried to be protected with lies, so that their masks do not fall and they do not come into the open. The truth, on the other hand, is like light that lights up the surroundings. Everything is laid out before the eyes and the masks fall. For this reason very many people hate the light, that is, the truth.

And this is the judgment: light came into the world, but people loved darkness rather than light. Because the works they did were evil.

Everyone who does evil hates the light and does not approach the light, so that what they do may not come into the open. But the person who practices the truth comes to the light, in order to show that he does what he does relying on God,’ says Jesus the Messiah

In the Gospel-John 3:19-21.

In fact the subject is this simple and understandable. Still, let us not expect that every evil will be done in secret. Especially our time is a very good example of this. People proclaim their evil works and aims plainly, they do not hide them. According to the explanation just now, this truth falls into contradiction. By now many things are done plainly, in the open and without being hidden.

For instance, a woman of about 50 complains before the microphone, saying, ‘I like to watch porn films, but in Turkey access to these pages is forbidden.’ By now cigarette advertisements are not made in white clothes, in the middle of the deep blue sea, on a wonderful yacht. On the packs there are pictures and explanations showing how ugly a state human health has become, ‘smoking kills.’ Politicians are no different. Instead of homeland, nation and freedom as before, they make statements like, ‘why do we not become the mandate of powerful countries, why do we not give our lands; why should the oil there not be ours, why should we not exploit the world solely ourselves.’ Prostitutes, homosexuals, AIDS patients, drug addicts make pride marches in the squares, in the streets. States support terrorists; more accurately, they first make them terrorists and openly do not refrain from using them so that they may reach their aims. Indeed, before elections, they give a promise to the public from a mutual mouth, ‘we will support them and give them billions of dollars' worth of weapons.’ People no longer look on these with a bad eye, because both candidates for president they will choose give the same promise. That is, they have no other remedy. Housewives married for 30 years leave the house, saying ‘now I want to have sexual relations outside with whomever I want,’ and return in the morning, and at that to the face of their 28-year-old son and their husband. In broad daylight in the street women are raped, people are killed. Those around, however, busy themselves with recording these on their phones. With the desire to break a record of many viewers by sharing such exciting scenes from their account. The examples are so many that they cannot be finished by telling.

Such examples were lived in very ancient times too. By no means say, ‘formerly it was not so, now it has become so.’ When saying formerly, yes, perhaps it did not happen in the short time and place you lived, but when we look at the history of humanity, it is possible to read the same corruptions thousands of years before. People's losing their decency, their shame, and turning into monsters has been very easy too. Look at what God says to the people of Israel about 2500-2600 years ago:

The expression on their faces testifies against them. They tell their sins openly like Sodom, they do not hide them. Woe to them! Because they brought this disaster upon their own heads.

As I live, says the Sovereign LORD, your sister Sodom and her daughters never did what you and your daughters did.

‘Your sister Sodom's sin was this: she herself and her daughters were proud, were sated with bread, were unconcerned. They did not extend a helping hand to the destitute, the poor. They were full of themselves. They did abominable things before me. For this reason, as you saw, I swept them away from before me… Torah-Isaiah 3:9

You will bear the consequences of your immorality and the abominations you did. So says the LORD. Torah-Ezekiel 16:49-50 and 58

As we all know, for thousands of years Israel, that is, the Jews, lived in the world homeless, despised and expelled. In short, God kept His word. The God who kept His word against them will not, and does not, ignore the other nations. Hating the truths and loving the lies and living with them, in fact, far from stopping humanity in place, from preventing its progress; takes it terribly backward, prevents its development, gives pains, and makes it unhappy and unsuccessful.

Jesus said to the Jews who had believed in him, ‘If you remain bound to my word, you are truly my disciples. You will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.’

‘We are of the seed of Abraham,’ they answered, ‘We have never been slaves to anyone. How is it that you say, You will be free?’ Jesus said, ‘Truly I tell you, everyone who sins is a slave of sin.’ ‘A slave is not a permanent member of the household, but a son is a permanent member. For this reason, if the Son sets you free, you will be truly free. I know that you are of the seed of Abraham. Yet you want to kill me. Because you give no place to my word in your hearts.’

I say what I have seen with my Father, and you do what you have heard from your father.’

‘Our father is Abraham,’ they answered. Jesus said, ‘If you were Abraham's children, you would do what Abraham did.’

‘But now you want to kill me, the one who has told you the truth he heard from God. Abraham did not do this.’

You do what your father does.’ ‘We were not born of fornication. We have one Father, and that is God,’ they said.

Jesus said, ‘If God were your Father, you would love me.’ ‘Because I came out and have come from God. I did not come of myself, He sent me. Why do you not understand what I say? Because you cannot bear to listen to my word.’

You are from your father the Devil, and you want to carry out the desires of your father. He was a murderer from the beginning. He did not remain bound to the truth. Because there is no truth in him. It is natural for him to lie. Because he is a liar and the father of the lie. But I tell the truth. It is for this reason that you do not believe in me. (Gospel-John 8:33-45)

In the light of all these explanations, does living with lies, keeping away from the truths and not caring about them, or hating them, set us free? The person God values greatly taught, ‘NO.’ Where there is no freedom, can there be happiness, peace and development? Jesus says that the one who invented the lie is plainly the Devil-Satan. Murderer means one who makes a massacre, who kills the innocent, who sheds blood. Massacre, lie, not remaining bound to the truths means carrying out Satan's desires. Let no one by any means deceive himself. If the German article writer says ‘we tell on average 100 lies a day,’ this is perhaps much more in other countries.

God gave the earth to humanity. Satan too, in order to prove his claim over people, asked for a period until the time the dead would rise, and God gave it. When creating Satan too, God created him, like the first man Adam, like the angels, in His own likeness, flawless. That is, He gave of His own features. People and angels too were created possessing free will. But if they wish, they can do evil. God gave the freedom to choose evil too. (Torah-Genesis 4:6-7)

Some, regarding the many terrible crimes against humanity that are committed, by saying ‘if people and angels were created in God's likeness, then where did they get this evil in their essence?’, both want to say by this way that God does not exist, that He is a fabrication, and believe in the existence of neither Satan nor angels. And if God really does exist, showing the insolence too of throwing all the guilt onto Him. That is, they want to say that the source of evil is God. ‘Since we were created in His likeness, whatever is evil, all the abominations we do, then we got them from the creator,’ they want to say. They perhaps do not know that to think and believe in this way is precisely Satan's desire. Because Satan too wants to impose this thought on everyone he struggles to drag to perish together with himself. This is the logic they bring out from ‘the free will God gave to people and angels.’ If the situation were exactly the opposite, that is, if no one on earth sinned and they always did good things as it will be in paradise, then Satan would claim that we were created as a robot, programmed like a machine, and would again accuse God. Hatred can thus, in such an illogical way, far from the truths, corrupt thoughts. God, by permitting all these, proves His rightness against Satan and those who think like him. He proved this countless times, whether in Jesus the Messiah, who has a flawless, that is, perfect, creation, or upon those who come from the seed of the sinful Adam. For instance: Abel, Noah, Job, Lot, Abraham, Isaac, Ishmael, Jacob, Moses, David, Daniel, Isaiah, Ezekiel, Jesus the Messiah, the apostles, Muhammad. Besides, many more whose names have not passed into the prophecies chose to use the pure and good essence God placed within them and kept away from evil. This is anyway the worth of the matter and the meaning of all this. Both evil and good will work together, and indeed most of the time the evil hand will prevail, but the person will still choose what is good and will die enduring everything for its sake. And God too will give the wonderful earth He created, as an eternal inheritance, to just such people.

Truly, after the Reminder, We had written in the Psalms too: ‘My good servants will inherit the earth.’ (Al-Anbiya 105)

Indeed it is written there exactly thus:

The righteous inherit the land and dwell in it forever. (Psalms 37:29) And again:

‘There you will live, there you will die, and from there you will be (raised and) brought out,’ He said. (Al-A'raf 25)

About God it occurs as ‘the Almighty,’ this is His feature. The Almighty means ‘for Him everything is possible, He who is mighty over everything.’ Here, when saying ‘everything,’ one must be careful; for instance, God cannot be bad, does not hate the truths, cannot lie, does not act with disloyalty toward His given word.

‘My apostleship rests on the hope of eternal life that God, who cannot lie, promised before the beginning of time,’ says the apostle Paul in Gospel-Titus 1:2.

Well, if He lies, does evil, hates the truths, what happens? Then God would have denied Himself.

‘If we endure, we will reign together with Him. If we deny Him, He too will deny us. Even if we are not faithful, He will remain faithful. Because He cannot deny Himself.’ Gospel-2 Timothy 2:12-13

Even if these words are attributed to Jesus the Messiah, they are of course valid for God too. Well, and us? With all kinds of ugliness and evil we do, what happens? We too deny ourselves and behave contrary to our essence. By trampling underfoot the holy values, we trample underfoot our human essence, our creation in God's likeness.

Against all the godlessness and unrighteousness of people who, with unrighteousness, obstruct the truth, God's wrath is plainly shown from heaven. Because whatever is known about God is before their eyes. God laid it all out before their eyes. Since the creation of the world, God's invisible qualities, that is, His eternal power and Godhood, are plainly seen, understood through the things He made. For this reason they have no excuse. Although they knew God, they did not glorify Him as God, did not thank Him. But they fell into foolishness in their thoughts; darkness covered their understandingless hearts. While claiming to be intelligent, they turned out unintelligent. Instead of the glory of the immortal God, they preferred idols resembling mortal man, birds, four-footed creatures and reptiles.

For this reason God abandoned them to immorality within the passions of their hearts, so that they would degrade one another's bodies. They put the lie in place of the truth about God. They worshiped and served the creature in place of the Creator. Yet God is worthy of praise forever. Amen. (Gospel-Romans 1:18-25)

It would not be wrong if I said these verses are the main summary of the whole subject I want to tell. If we love and desire the eternal life, the eternal peace and happiness God promised, then we are obliged to love the truths too in order to attain that life. However hard it may be, however great the price, we must, if necessary, struggle to the death without any hesitation, not against the truths, but for the truths.

‘Behold, I am coming soon! The rewards I will give are with me. I will give to everyone the recompense of what he did. I am the Alpha* and the Omega*, the first and the last, the beginning and the end.’ ‘Happy are those who wash their robes, thus earning the right to eat from the tree of life and to pass through the gates and enter the city! The dogs (lying and dog-like low-level people with dog-like loyalty), the sorcerers, those who commit fornication, the murderers, the idolaters, all who love the lie and practice deceit will remain outside,’ it occurs in the last book of the Gospel, Revelation 22:12-15.
